October of 2007 Wade Metz and Mike Walsh launch Terrene Ventures amid one of the worst recessions in generations. They acted very nimbly during this time and allowed themselves to create a successful business.

After company expansion, Terrene Homes relocates to a larger office in Bellevue.

Terrene begins vertical construction at Versant, a community of 24 single-family homes in Redmond.

Mike Walsh wins Master Builders Association of King & Snohomish Counties (MBAKS) Builder of the Year award. In 2001, he began his land development career and has been directly responsible for the permitting and development of more than 1,400 single-family residential lots.

Terrene breaks ground for Jade Condominiums, the first new-construction condo to be built in the Kirkland-Juanita submarket in five years. The 135-condominium building offers premier finishes, unique amenities, and enviable location.

Terrene begins construction at Astera, a neighborhood of 25 single-family homes in Sammamish.

Terrene acquires 11 acres of land in Puyallup for future development of Alder Walk, a 78-unit garden-style apartment project.
